Foods heavy
in fats and sugars that provide more calories than nutrients are referred to as
empty calories. On the religious landscape the writer of Hebrews cautioned
against spiritually empty calories found in the ceremonial foods of the Aaronic
priesthood and sacrifices. “Do not be carried away by all kinds of strange
teachings. It is good for our hearts to be strengthened by grace, not by
ceremonial foods, which are of no value to those who eat them. We
have an altar from which those who minister at the tabernacle have no right to
eat” (Heb 13:9-10 NIV).

Gail;
-----The constellation Libra represents a set of scales. In one balance of the scales is a star named Zuben al Genubi which in Arabic means deficient payment (while the Christians were fuddling around with potatoes and turnips in the Dark Ages, the Arabs were being the keepers of knowledge.) But in the other balance is Zuben al Chemali -sufficient payment, also known as al Gubi -heaped up high. Obviously this sign in the heavens is a commentary on calories, weighing the empty ones against the full ones.
-----”Truly no man can ransom himself, or give to God the price of his life, for the ransom of his life is costly, and can never suffice, that he should continue to live on for ever, and never see the Pit…Man cannot abide in his pomp, he is like the beasts that perish…Like sheep they are appointed for Sheol; Death shall be their shepherd; straight to the grave they descend, and their form shall waste away; Sheol shall be their home. But God will ransom my soul from the power of Sheol, for He will receive me.” (Ps 49:7-9,12,14-15)
-----If I could eat my way to Heaven it would be the price I gave. If I could obey my way to Heaven, it would be the price I gave. If I could go-to-church my way to Heaven, or tithe my way to Heaven, or even visit-the-orphans-widows-and-prisoners my way to Heaven, it would all be the price I gave. And if I did it all all the time, I would still not tip these scales to my favor, for “Men of low estate are but a breath, men of high estate are a delusion; in the balances they go up; they are together lighter than a breath.” (Ps 62:9)
-----But Christ laid himself upon the altar. No pain of death was required of Him, for He committed not the slightest cause for death. Death can not be without a cause. Our deaths have sin as their cause. Did maybe He borrow ours for His cause? No. He took them. All of them. All of the world’s sin He took to die on the cross, and of those sins He took, He vanquished the ones His sheep gave willingly and thankfully.
-----So, Victima, the second deacon of Libra lies dead at the tip of Centaurus’ lance. And we know Centaurus is Christ by the star in his leg named Toliman -heretofore and hereafter, also called Cheiron by the Greeks, a word from a Hebrew root meaning the pierced. Centaurus is actually a deacon of Virgo perched upon the first deacon of Libra, Crux, the Southern Cross. Even the stars shout forth the glory of God as Christ, despised and rejected by men like a dog (Victima,) is pierced by His own doing upon the cross. And that price laid in the balance of the scales paid more than enough for Corona, the crown of life gifted to all who turn to Him, the third deacon of Libra.
-----”The heavens are telling the glory of God.” (Ps 19:1a) “[Do not] be dismayed at the signs of the heavens because the nations are dismayed at them, for the customs of the peoples are false.” (Jer 10:2b-3a)
Love you all,
