Jesus healed two demon possessed
men and sent the demons into a herd of pigs. When the pigs rushed into a lake and
died the incident was reported to the town, “Then the whole town went out to
meet Jesus. And when they saw him, they pleaded with him to leave their region”
(Matt 8:34 NIV). I find it very telling that, in spite of freeing the two demon
possessed men, no one in the town asked Jesus to stay. In America today there are some groups of
people acting in a similar fashion. In effect the environmentalist,
the new ager, and the liberal media have all asked Jesus to leave what they perceive
to be their region. People of faith can and should reclaim these
regions for the Lord.

-----A region is filled with the belief of those who live in it, and the people of faith won’t reclaim it by demand or war. It would be nice if they could reclaim it by reason. But what’s happening before our eyes is no longer mankind being a man kind of thing. Over the last two centuries, man’s careless hubris brought us to a spiritual brink where man‘s becoming downright Satanic. During that time, godly rhetoric, prayerfully considered decisions, sacrificial behavior, and deliberate regard for the truth of Scripture could have maintained faithfulness in the region. But they weren't.
-----Now it’s time for spiritual effects. Regard for Scriptural truth tells us of this region of history to know our region by observing the behaviors of man under the signs in the stars, moon, and sun (Gen 1:14) in the light of God’s Word. His Word says deceit will increase and evil will abound before the kingdom of earth becomes the kingdom of the Lord (II Thes 2:9-13.) The Book of Revelation portrays it. It also portrays Christ cleaning evil from the earth with the bowls of wrath preceding His return to put an end to Armageddon and establish peace on earth.
-----It is interesting that we’re entering the age of Aquarius. This is not a new-age concept. It is a Biblical sign perverted by new-age mental filth. The Spring equinox sunrise is moving into the sign of Aquarius by the procession of the earth’s axis. But, not only will Aquarius become the sign of the Spring sunrise by 2040, Taurus will be the sign of the Summer solstice sunrise, Leo the sign of the Autumn equinox sunrise, and Scorpio the sign of the Winter solstice sunrise. For 2,160 years it will be this way. Big deal! So what? Who cares?
-----Sagittarius, the archer with his bow drawn to shoot the scorpion’s heart, was also depicted in ancient times as an eagle, the eater of scorpions. Either way, the scorpion is doomed, though it stings the heel of Ophiuchus (Christ) restraining Serpens (Satan) from seizing Corona, God’s crown. Here we have in the stars a picture of what Christ does for us. Being our strong army (the horse part of Sagittarius,) He finally shall put the sting of death (Scorpio) to death after for so long restraining Satan from stealing God’s crown. Then, for a thousand years the Spring sun will rise in this picture, the Summer sun will rise in a picture of the Lord’s horns pushing evil from the world (Taurus), and the Autumn sun will rise in a picture of Christ (Leo) shredding Satan (Hydra) upon whom the bowls of wrath (Crater) overturn, and the birds (Corvus) come to dine.
-----Indeed the Mazzaroth (Job 38:32, the Zodiac) is the gospel gloriously written in the stars! “The heavens are telling the glory of God; and the firmament proclaims His handiwork.” (Ps 19:1) Now, marvel at the symbols Origen assigned to the Gospels, a man, a lion, a bull, and an eagle -destroyer of the scorpion- the very same faces of the cherubim ever circling the throne of God! (Rev 4:7) “And God said, ‘Let there be lights in the firmament…and let them be for signs…’” (Gen 1:14) Christ Himself will teach mankind the gospel from Jerusalem for a thousand years with the faces of His cherubim amongst the stars circling over the earth (then His kingdom,) each lit by the sun’s beginning of each season.
-----Today’s region is spiritual. It’s a marked region. The signs in the heavens say it’s time to pack your spiritual bags, and to pack them orderly, for the deception coming is slicker than Willy.
