The Burden of Hypocrisy
Political pundits tell us what
they think is behind Speaker of the House John Boehner’s recent resignation of both
his position, and his congressional seat. It’s easy for everyone,
including Boehner, to say it’s the dysfunction in the House of Representatives;
however, there is also a spiritual perspective. Boehner, a devout Catholic,
listened to the Pope’s address to Congress that all life has dignity. It’s entirely possible that he could no
longer stand under the burden of hypocrisy by being a man of faith and also supporting
funding for Planned Parenthood. However, we also must look at the biblical
reality put forth by Daniel in his praise of God, “He changes times and
seasons; he sets up kings and deposes them” (Dan 2:21a NIV).

-----You are being really kind and fair to Mr. Boehner. But it should also be easy to note how closed one’s eyes must get to become that kind and fair. Boenher was amongst all those lying Republicans assuring voters an honest, hard fight to repeal Obama’s hellth care. Yet he stood with the liars pandering again and again to this aberrant dictator in the Oval office. I remember a bill up for vote last December having a critical impact on Nazi-care’s ability to survive. When Boenher saw it was going to fail due to lack of DEMOCRAT support, he HELPED RALLY that Democrat support AGAINST the demands for the bill to fail of the REPUBLICAN BASE. I would like to think you are right, but their government has been murdering millions of babies per year right in Boenher’s uncaring sight. When it comes to abortion, I’m not even claiming this evil government. Hitler murdered his six million. Boenher and the Democrat Nazis have murdered their fifty millions. Hopefully the Pope did wake him up, for Jesus is soon to pay a much, much more ominous visit.
Love you all,
Steve Corey
