Phishing

Recently I received an anonymous comment on a blog post that said, “WOW just what I was looking for. Came here by searching for boat mooring covers.” First I laughed at absurdity, then I laughed at the spiritual truth contained in the sentiments. As believers we find what we are looking for in Christ — but many of us didn’t start out searching for a Savior. Jesus said, “Come, follow me, and I will make you fishers of men.” (Matt 4:19 NIV).

Gail;

-----I hold to a philosophy that says everything relates to God no matter how insignificant or minuscule it is, how remote it is to anything else, or whether it be in accord with or in opposition to Him. There is no secular. Everything works to His glory by either holding Him up or falling to Him in defeat. And like the pea under the princess’ stack of mattresses or any particular domino in a chain reaction, it might seem meaningless to the all-not-knowing eye, but it’s meaning is perfectly understood and received by the All Knowing One.
-----We have no idea which seemingly inconsequential action or word we make or speak might be the pea the princess felt or the domino setting off or carrying on a series of events. And as important as that would make it seem to get everything you do or say just right, I believe it is more often that our errors work to His benefit simply because we do far more things tainted by some erroneous flaw than we do things perfectly well. Therefore I rest assured that even in my blundering little seemingly meaningless life, I am of great value to Him by simply being a part of the activity within His creation, and knowing this value is multiplied in every desire for what I do to be of benefit to Him, especially through its benefiting others (Mat 25:40.) Like Paul pointed out, it’s not the kind of thing where we should sin more so that grace might abound. It’s the kind of thing that shows how mighty comfortable His hands are.

Love you all,
Steve Corey
