Wise Counsel

I’ve mentioned to a few people that I scheduled a meeting with an official and each and every one of them has cautioned, “Do not meet with him alone.” Their reasoning is not that something inappropriate might happen, but that anything said might be twisted or manipulated. I’ll keep the scheduled meeting, but being mindful of the counsel from others I intend to record the conversation. “Plans fail for lack of counsel, but with many advisers they succeed” (Proverbs 15:22 NIV).

Gail;

-----Since every man is false, what else could be expected? Of course, that isn’t to say every man is completely false. Nor is it to say every man is flawed by only a tiny bit of falsehood. Study the level of deceitfulness in every person’s heart, then chart each one’s level on a graph and you will develop the proverbial bell chart.
-----Understanding that all of the knowledge in the world can no more fit into any one person’s mind than it is deniable that one person surely knows a handful of information about his own life and affairs illuminates how successfully deceit operates in this world. For example, I grew up with science texts illustrating in drawings all of the stages fetuses of different animals developed through, how they were all alike in theses stages, how they went through a fish stage, complete with gills, before developing lungs, etc., mimicking the course of evolution over the eons. The problem is, these drawings were demonstrated to be false, then were admitted to be false by their creator before the turn of the twentieth century. And there in the 1960’s textbooks, more than sixty years since the fraud was exposed, were these false drawings still being used to validate evolution. Same thing is happening with the news media today. The lies, fraud, and deceit of politicians is stacked so high anymore that any simple minded half aware person can see through them clear as a bell. Yet the media continues to distort, cover up, and embellish the plainly apparent truths regarding these evil politicians, and consequently, more and more people by droves are beginning to see clear as mud. Because too many people are interested in what they can get rather than the integrity of their own lives and the society in which they’re embedded, purposely false impressions of reality are successfully spread before the public’s eyes.
-----It is very wise to record your meeting. But that’s only the first step of the game which must be played in this deceitful world. At the point of having the recording, you will have evidence of what was said which only you, the official, and your recorder will know, and which only you and your recorder will be willing to admit. I remember recording a meeting once, too. Following it, my message was profoundly distorted and I was outright lied about, yet all my “counselors” told me to just drop the issue. So the truth stopped, but not the subtlety of the lies.
-----Spare the rod and spoil the child. “He who spares the rod hates his son,” (Prov 13:24.) Those who lied in my case were part of a social system which is in many ways “the child” of everyone involved in it. It needed the rod, but spoiling it got. For twenty years I’ve been watching the mainstream media thrash and destroy the integrity of our society successfully, because those who know the truth have been unwilling to step forward with it like a rod and break lies like clay pots. Yes, breaking the pots turns into “war”. But where there is no fortitude in the belly for spanking the child, what good will a recording do? Where there is fortitude, there must be a venue for the truth to flow through in reaching enough people to make a difference. That should be the church. Yet witness the level of deceit America has spoilt into today even while being made of the most church going people in the world. I think the lights are being turned off because this party is beginning to end.

Love you all,
