Perceived Global Doom

It’s not just Democrats, pundits, and the media who are in shock by the 2016 election results, but foreign countries are weighing in with global doom. Let me be clear, I’m not inferring that America is the Babylon referred to in Revelation. However, I find the current rhetoric coming from the four corners of the earth to have familiar ring. An angel with a mighty voice shouted, “Fallen! Fallen is Babylon the Great! She has become a home for demons and a haunt for every evil spirit, a haunt for every unclean and detestable bird. For all the nations have drunk the maddening wine of her adulteries. The kings of the earth committed adultery with her, and the merchants of the earth grew rich from her excessive luxuries” (Rev 18:1-3 NIV).

Gail;

-----I don’t think its like these mutton heads around the world have all been reading their Bibles and see the election of The Don as the doom of Babylon. Shortly before election day there was also a wave of optimism for a Trump victory spreading around the world. We get to see what the reporters shine their light on. It is part of the evil of journalism. And you were shown intent focus on the evil side of humanity in a sympathetic light.
-----These are the developers and builders of Babylon. They are certain The Don spells an end to their progressive drive to utopia. For if men do not imagine something great in their futures, then they either run and hide or lay down and give up (for the most part. God always has a wise remnant.) Technology is reaching truly amazing heights. And the world is doing a fine job of transforming slowly but surely into the secular-humanistic mindset needed for people to follow some dope-to-come who will unify them all into a brain-dead ant hill, of course, after all the dissidents have been exterminated.
-----There’s little wonder these insects are nervous. Trump campaigned with his own can of Raid Ant and Roach Killer in hand, so to speak. Good people around the world are anxious to smell that off-sweet odor of Raid. It’s just that they’re getting the cart before the horse. Trump isn’t going to right the world. Jesus will soon do that; He needs no help from us (only prayer, faithfulness, and evangelism.) The Don will spray his Raid around. We don’t know if it will be effective even a little. But it will smell like killing ants and roaches, and America’s fast rotting will slow down.
-----I thank God not that He will spare our country through Trump, but that, before things must get really bad, He will give us a few more years far more enjoyable than they would have been under that old swamp monster (Jail to the Thief!) This world isn’t saved now, it’s just starting to get entertaining.

Love you all,
