Fiscally Content

Fast food jobs in Chicago and New York are no longer entry level positions for young people getting into the workforce. Workers insist on being paid what they deem a living wage regardless of the fact that their education, productivity and skill level remains the same. As John the Baptist prepared the way for Jesus, “Tax collectors also came to be baptized. “Teacher,” they asked, “what should we do?” “Don’t collect any more than you are required to,” he told them. Then some soldiers asked him, “And what should we do?” He replied, “Don’t extort money and don’t accuse people falsely—be content with your pay” (Luke 3:12-14 NIV).

Gail;

-----The minimum wage ignores one important fact of life: need incentivizes effort. By denying that fact, fools steer our social system into the destruction of good character in the workforce and into resentment towards fellow man by the investors. Fine, if the fool denies God, but even the animal kingdom yet teaches that need incentivizes effort. The fox needs food; he hunts. Or dies. The gofer needs shelter; he digs. Or dies. The slovenly needs money; he votes for governmental thieves. The dole system destroys character.
-----The minimum wage is nothing more than another way governmental thieves steal from investors to buy the votes of characterless fools. Certainly it is not the only social evil destroying our nation. But it is today’s topic. Its opposite, that concept and word having been pissed on since the sixties -laissez faire- incentivizes the hungry to work, an idea fools consider inequality. But by it, if the greedy want more, they must increase the value of their work. That means they must produce more. Wisdom sees here a process of equality: more money received for more value given. To get that extra value to give, the employee must increase his skills. Millions of employees increasing their skills to earn more money increases an economy’s value of production.
-----But that process neither buys votes nor does it make places of control for politicians. Without those there is no need for lackey businesses supporting politicians who create for them markets by legislation and weed out their competition by regulations. Intellectual subversives doped up a whole generation to piss on laissez faire. Once the doper babies were embedded into the entertainment industry, the minds of the nation were tilled for the seeding of economic foolishness. Go ahead, watch the $15/hour boy flip your burger. But don’t ask why you had to give twenty bucks to get it, or why the kid serving it doesn’t have enough sense to wipe the drool from the corners of his mouth.
-----Thank God for the Don. He’ll be somewhat of a stop-gap measure till Jesus gets back. Then is when fools will appear as what they are -grapes in a winepress. Too bad for the bullyhood. Glory hallelujah for the neighborhood.

Love you all,
