The Unnamed
I just heard a report on an atheist group trying to force a community
to remove a war memorial that has been standing in the town square for 91
years. The offending memorial is of
course in the shape of a cross. I think it is unfortunate that we simply refer
to these people as ‘an atheist group’, rather than exposing the names of the individuals
involved. Certainly Satan gets more embolden when he has anonymity. Judas
Iscariot had eaten with Jesus and claimed to be his friend, but he was
identified as the betrayer. I can’t help but wonder if some of those from the
atheist group have also dipped their hand into the same bowl with believers.

Gail;
-----It is surprising how many do. It is sad the damage they have caused. Jeremiah Wright dips his hand in the bowl. I don’t say that just because Barak Obama hid his true identity in that church. I say it because Wright makes Jesus and the salvation He effected into nothing more than a good metaphor for Marxism. The Reverends Jesse Jackson and Al Sharpton add racial dimensions to the mix. Charles T Russell stuck his thumb into the bowl and pulled out Kingdom Hall, and Joseph Smith did the same to extract the Mormon Temple. Countless “theologians” over the last couple centuries have used textual criticism and higher criticism to reduce the Holy Scriptures to nothing more than highly imaginative literature. I never could understand a person who would hack at the very support of the belief he engages. I suppose good sense does not extend from vast education.
-----The frauds these people are appears in their clinging to goofed up ideas in the face of clearly discernable evidence. Although evidence never makes a liar leave, it contrasts the Judas kiss against the holy kiss for those wise enough to pay thoughtful attention. Thank God for lost goats and rock throwing Bedouin boys! Every one of us who loves the Lord and His ways, who finds ways to express to others tasty bits of that love flavored however slightly by Scriptural truth, who stands firm in the order godliness produces become more evidence for more contrast. And we know that good sense in some will take note and come to dip with the Lord, not against Him.
Love you all,
Steve Corey
