There are a
few verses in the Bible that I don’t
understand, while others I grasp, but they are not applicable to me at that moment.
Jesus taught in parables and on more than one occasion the disciples asked Him
to explain the meaning of the parable. The representatives of the Sanhedrin,
who were well versed in Scripture, felt the sting of the Parable of the Talents,
“Then they looked for a way to arrest him because they knew he had spoken the
parable against them. But they were afraid of the crowd; so they left him and
went away” (Mark 12:12 NIV).
