My Brother’s Keeper
The abortion
issue is once again fanned into flame with the recent video release of a Planned
Parenthood abortion doctor vividly describing destroying fetuses and selling
the body parts. It is reported that since the legalization of a woman’s right
to choose there has been over 55M abortions. Planned Parenthood may have convinced
lawmakers to overlook murder, but that is not something God is willing to do. In
a fit of anger Cain killed his brother Abel and when confronted by the Lord,
Cain showed calloused indifference. The Lord said to Cain, “What have you done? Listen! Your brother’s blood
cries out to me from the ground” (Gen 4:10 NIV). I’m trying to imagine what it
must be like for God to hear the blood of 55M babies crying out from Planned Parenthood
abortion clinics.

Gail;
-----Thank you. Let’s call them “fetuses” only enough to identify the deceitful folly we address. They are human beings at the moment of conception when they become individuated by one strand of DNA describing their every physical aspect. At that moment their physical being is written into the material substance of this world. The writing can be read by our technology. The distinctness of their body can be known, eye color, hair color, height, weight tendency, intellectual acumen, emotional natures, particular physical strengths and frailties both, and even certain diseases scheduled for certain times of the life, if that single cell with it’s future plan stitched together by God’s own will into the DNA code can escape Abortotron, the morbid moron, formerly known as Moloch.
-----I’ve said this before, but it bears repeating. The American Heritage Dictionary describes life as: “1) the property or quality manifested in functions such as metabolism, growth, response to stimulation, and reproduction by which living organisms are distinguished from dead organisms or from inanimate matter.” At the moment the sperm breaks through the cell wall of the egg, that cell wall toughens to the point no other sperm can enter: response to stimuli. God even knows the exact location it happened for every human ever lived (intimacy.) The woman’s DNA combines with the man’s to produce the cell’s own unique DNA, the very beginning of reproduction. God watched over its knitting, directing it to His will. Ribosome swings into action reading the DNA and constructing proteins, a process requiring the presence and operation of specific links in the long chain of metabolic action. As one result, growth begins in the number of proteins manufactured by the ribosome performing a procedural step towards the soon replication of the DNA, the splitting of the cell into two identical cells: reproduction.
-----All of this bio-machinery meets the simple definition of life from the moment of conception. Why does the Bible direct us to not eat blood? “For the life of the flesh is in the blood. “ (Lev 17:11) Then if the life is in the blood, where is the conceived cell’s blood, if indeed it is living flesh? In the DNA. Remember, the DNA is the organisms blueprint. If DNA defines blood, the cell has blood just as much as if you’ve hated someone in your heart you’ve committed murder.
-----Truth operates through integrity. Integrity does not dance and dodge its way around truth. It intersperses the meaning of truth through all pieces and parts and processes and sub-processes of any complexity. Liars slice and dice and scrutinize complexities into their pieces and parts searching for any excuses to not participate in those complexities. God is a complexity requiring the integration of truth into all that relates to Him. That means if it metabolizes like life, if it grows like life, if it responds like life, and reproduces like life, well then, it is life. At conception is probably when every human has his most complete integrity. At bowing in acceptance of Jesus Christ is when a human has his greatest integrity. And the human cell at conception and the human bowing to Jesus are one in the same, just seen at different moments in time. That also is integrity. But there is no integrity in abortion. Just lies.
Love you all,
