For many of
us, improving on something is easier than starting from scratch. Whether it is a
creating a recipe, following a blueprint, or writing a Bible study. Paul was
not one of the original 12 Apostles and you’d think he would follow the pattern
of the other apostles. No so. Paul said, “It has always been my ambition to
preach the gospel where Christ was not known, so that I would not be building
on someone else’s foundation” (Ro 15:20 NIV).
