America
continues to see innocent people gunned down by mass murderers and it’s
not unusual for believers to look at such tragedies through the lens of Revelation.
Even though we’re not yet to the Seven Seals of Revelation, I find one passage that
is remarkable similar to what is happening in America today. John wrote, “When
the Lamb opened the second seal, I heard the second living creature say,
“Come!” Then another horse came out, a fiery red one. Its rider was given
power to take peace from the earth and to make men slay each other. To him was
given a large sword” (Rev 6:3-4 NIV).
