Real or imagined,
in most families there is a perception of one child being favored over others.
Jesus was God’s only son, so there is no family favoritism, and He was loved
beyond measure. It gives me pause to know that Jesus loves me the same way God
loves his one and only Son. Jesus said, “As the Father has loved me, so have I
loved you. Now remain in my love” (John 15:9 NIV).
