Fearless

During the question answer portion of the Miss USA pageant, Miss California stated that she holds a traditional view of marriage, which is between a man and a woman. Obviously her views are not politically correct and cost her the pageant crown. In an interview on FOX news Carrie Prejean stated that she will not deny her faith, values or opinions. When ask where she goes from here (her career) she said, “Wherever God leads me…I’m fearless.” What a great statement. Scripture gives comfort when it says, ‘fear not’, but there is power in the statement, ‘I am fearless!’

Gail;

-----Merriam-Webster’s 11th Collegiate Dictionary: tolerance: 1) capacity to endure pain or hardship 2)a - sympathy or indulgence for beliefs or practices differing from or conflicting with one’s own b - the act of allowing something.
-----Everyone knows the homosexual movement rode out of the closet on a black horse named Tolerance. Indeed, they have shown the capacity to endure pain and hardship, for these are the products of being confined to a closet by the scorn of most societies. For many societies had not been tolerant of homosexuality. They had shown no more sympathy or indulgence towards homosexual beliefs and practices than to allow gays a banished existence out of sight and mind. But, unlike the riders of the black horse, these societies had never preached tolerance.
-----Merriam-Webster’s 11th Collegiate Dictionary: honesty: 2)a - fairness and straightforwardness of conduct b - adherence to the facts (sincerity)
-----So societies had been fair and straightforward in their conduct. The overwhelming majority of their individuals set the standards by what they accepted and rejected, having learned them from the experience of moms, dads, grandpas, and grandmas. They fairly behaved towards individuals who acknowledged the social standards, and they straightforwardly presented the standards. Fidelity of marriage was good; infidelity of sexual unchastity was bad. By admitting to the facts of emotional and spiritual degradations caused from either the abandonment of commitment to a mate, or the ignorance of simple principles of nature, they protected themselves and their societies from immoral rebels. They held to their standards with integrity, because they knew the social system was as important to the individual as the individual was to the social system.
-----Not all societies learned this from Scripture, but those societies capable of learning it understood the limits of tolerance, the safety of moral principles, and the threat of self-indulgence. Tolerance towards society by the individual was as important as tolerance towards the individual by society, but never did tolerance disobey principle. Tolerance towards immoral and destructive principles was not important, and to the contrary, intolerance towards them was. As does murder, theft, cheating, and disregard for individual dignity, homosexuality serves up its own set of facts that establishes its destructive force. Most folks had been able to acknowledge these facts when their intelligence was sufficient enough to understand subtleties. And those societies honest enough to acknowledge the subtle facts establishing the authority of Scripture have, even more, understood the abysmal depths of homosexuality’s spiritual destruction.
-----So judge Mario Armand Lavandeira, aka, Perez Hilton, must saddle his horse called Tolerance with dishonesty and ignorance. For he can not ride that horse bare-back while calling Ms. Prejean, “a dumb b*%$#,” and claiming she had given “the worst answer in pageant history,” merely because her answer did not reflect his views. Where are his sympathy and indulgence for Ms. Prejean’s beliefs and practices shown in his later statement, “And I called her the ‘b’ word, and hey, I was thinking the ‘c’ word?” Ms. Prejean was runner up primarily due to Hilton’s vote! (Worldnewsdaily.com) Simply because she refused to bow to his beliefs and practices he turned upon her. The change of his judgment from her unwillingness to parrot his indulgence is fact of his intolerance. His intolerance while preaching tolerance is fact of his dishonesty.
-----Neither did Ms. Prejean show tolerance. But she can ride that horse bare-back, tolerating some things but not others, because she does not preach tolerance. She preaches the Word of God, which from love does not tolerate what destroys. His purpose is not to ban the self-indulging, self-serving, and self-defining people to the eternal closet only because He does not like them nor agree with them. His purpose is to rid them from the presence of all who tolerate and accept what is truly healthy rather than what is not. From His sufficiently subtle intelligence God has defined for us what is healthy, and whether Hilton accepts or rejects God’s Word has no bearing upon its being true. It stands upon its own merit, and Hilton will be cast down upon the merit of his own dishonesty. The fact that Ms. Prejean has chosen to stand upon the Word is her claim to honesty and her right to not tolerate gay marriage.

Love you all,
