The Christian Ear is a forum for discussing and listening to the voice of today's church. The Lord spoke to churches,“He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches.” Rev 2&3

Lend Me an Ear
The judge was half way
through interviewing a room full of prospective jurors when an elderly lady
raised her hand and said, “I can’t hear a word you’re saying.” The court clerk
quickly hooked her up with a hearing device and then the judge patiently revisited
the pertinent questions while the others listened to the replay. As I watched
the scene unfold I imagined the Spirit lecturing on Faith 101 to prepare
believers for a test and seeing the lackluster response of some he knew they weren’t
hearing a word he was saying. “He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit
says to the churches ...” (Rev 2:7b
NIV).

Gail;
-----The oldest complete Zodiac was retrieved from Egypt’s Temple of Dendera over a hundred years ago. The debate about its antiquity was never entirely settled, but it is commonly agreed to be a 1st or 2nd century BC or AD reproduction of what existed at earlier temples built on the same site, possibly being as ancient as Khufu (Cheops) of the early third millennium BC. Rather than Bernice’s Hair associated with Virgo, this Zodiac places Coma, the seated mother bearing in arms her precious child. It is further interesting that ancient Zodiacal references and names across different cultures of antiquity bear meanings almost identical to each other’s. It is even more interesting that most of those names extend from ancient word roots associated with Hebrew. Indeed, “Zodiac” comes to us from a Greek word built upon an ancient Hebrew root, “Zo” meaning “the way”. Now, this “Coma” is not the “Come” the Greeks substituted later to mean “hair”. It is from “Comah”, Hebrew for “the desired one.” Being in the constellation Virgo, the Virgin with a branch in one hand and a shock of grain in the other, it obviously bespeaks the seed of the woman promised to crush the head of the serpent. The prominent star of Virgo's grain is anciently named Al Zimach, an Arab word meaning “branch” derived from the more primitive Hebrew “tsemech” denoting a branch in the sense of an offspring. The Bible has twenty Hebrew words translated as “branch,” but tsemech is used exclusively of the Messiah. And so the star above Virgo’s shoulder is Zavijaveh, the gloriously beautiful, the star in her other arm holding the branch is Al Mureddin, who shall come down, also known to the Chaldeans as Vin-demiatrix, the son (or branch) who cometh. The Hebrew name for the Centaur of the Virgo "house" was Asmeath, sin-offering. He is of two natures, one as implied by the Arabic or Chaldaic name, Al Beze, the despised, the other marked by the star Toliman in his foot, meaning the heretofore and hereafter. Behold, under him is the cross, the Southern Cross, upon which He was crucified! Associated with these constellations in Virgo is Bootes, the coming one, the rushing man with a spear in one hand marked by the star named to mean the branch treading underfoot, and in the other hand a sickle raised for reaping bearing the star named to mean he who bruises. On his head is the star Nekkar, the pierced. And so goes just a brief glimpse at the first chapter of the first book of the Zodiac which circles the entire sky with a telling of the whole story of God’s salvation for man. (EW Bullinger, The Witness of the Stars, 1893. A GREAT READ!!!)
-----If my memory serves me right, it was 2008 when the brightest x-ray burst in mankind’s history issued forth from the star in Bootes’ knee. We have just begun to witness the cycle of four consecutive total lunar eclipses occurring on four Jewish holidays, the last three times of which happened upon each of the most important dates in Israel’s reformation into a nation. As God always promised, He gives information about what He is doing because He loves us. This truth forms a mindset receptive to more information within those having a desire for truth and righteousness.
-----The flood of other people with hearts seeking pleasure and wealth and power and personal freedom submissive to nothing but themselves destroy that information sent by the Lover of mankind. They perverted His gospel in the sky unto a cheap parlor trick. They weaved a shroud of lies around His Holy Word and thought to bury it. They charge His nation with fallacious accusations. They project upon His church all the hatred and intolerances their own hearts breed. With many decades of “scientific” lies they’ve put out the eyes and plugged up the ears of multitudes. They bear the hope of Sodom being no change from Cain.
Love you all,
Steve Corey
