Woe Is Me

Occasionally I read a web site whose main audience is pastors. Unfortunately the posts and comments sometimes turn into a woe-is-me-party with pastors feeling unappreciated, overworked and underpaid. As I read through the list of grievances from pastors, I can honestly say that they are no different than what is experienced by politicians, social workers and government employees. It’s curious that believers sometimes feel their struggles in life are more difficult than they are for others. Paul tells us that we all face the same types of issues, even when it comes to temptation. No temptation has seized you except what is common to man. And God is faithful; he will not let you be tempted beyond what you can bear. But when you are tempted, he will also provide a way out so that you can stand up under it” (1 Cor 10:13 NIV).

Gail;

-----I am hoping that pastors don’t feel as unappreciated as politicians. And politicians deserve every sentiment of their disapproval. Seventeen trillion dollars!?! Do you realize how much that is? You see, the reason politicians are so not approved is because they keep making bad decisions on top of bad decisions on top of bad decisions. And this would not be so bad if these decisions were not the type any common bloke on the street would never make! But the politicians keep on marching us into economic doom. I hope pastors don’t feel the disdain people should hold for politicians.
-----And that’s beside the fact of their incessant parade of lies. We don’t like to call people liars, which is a good part of how politicians get away with lying. If it was not only publicly acceptable, but even admirable, like it should be, to call liars liars, there would not be so much lying as there is today. But when the main stream media found how much they could lie about Clinton with public impunity, they cranked it up two powers against George W. Bush, and then cranked it up another two powers to help the impervious Barrack Obama. Now, in front of God and everybody, this known dual citizen is making a mockery of the Constitution by his even being President. It is abundantly clear in all historical documents that dual citizens were not considered natural born citizens by the framers of our law. And Barrack Obama is the perfect demonstration of why that is so, not only allowing illegal aliens to flood across our boarder bringing diseases we spent decades to eradicate, but worse than that, compelling the courts to stop anyone from trying to enforce border law! Now it’s 75,000 Syrians coming from radical infested Islamic lands. A dual citizen inevitably has dual allegiances. No wonder he was nowhere to be found while Benghazi burned.
-----On the other hand, before this nation was, when it struggled against the tyranny of England and many were fed up while most didn’t care, preachers of the faith stirred enough sentiment for successfully fighting our way to freedom. They preached the truth about how a controlling, overreaching government ruins the character and abilities of its citizenry. Today, preachers have tucked their nervous, shivering little tails between their legs and let tyranny grow like weeds without so much as a responsive whimper. In fact, bring our political plight up in most churches and the looks you receive are simply chilling. And this is in the face of a torrent of lies rotting us from the inside out. A people who worship Truth at peace with liars throughout their government! Appalling!! ‘Tis the difference between the preachers of the eighteenth century and the preachers of today that a marvel of a nation those inspired to form is being shredded by lying dogs these fear to expose. Today’s preachers also occupy the place of watchmen, but, “If I say to the wicked, ‘You shall surely die,’ and you give him no warning, nor speak to warn the wicked from his wicked way, in order to save his life, that wicked man shall die in his iniquity; but his blood I will require at your hand.” (Ez 3:18) A simple unified stand upon the truths of our law would end this imposter’s stay in the White House and the power structure of all the liars who’ve propped up his stuffed shirt. But no, “That’s too risky!” “It’s not nice.” “We’re here to save the lost.” It’s no wonder the end of this evil age is at hand, everyone has come to think coexistence with evil leads to peace.

Love you all,
