On a couple
of occasions, I’ve received a message from a friend telling me my Facebook account
may have been hacked and that I should send a warning message to all my
friends. The message gives me pause…if I have been hacked, it could be the
hacker sending me the message. It also occurs to me that if I’ve been hacked,
it’s already too late to send out a warning. Many of us fear someone with the
ability to sabotage our life, but even in this electronic age David’s words
remain true, “The LORD is my light and my salvation—whom shall I fear? The LORD
is the stronghold of my life—of whom shall I be afraid? When evil
men advance against me to devour my flesh, when my enemies and my foes attack
me, they will stumble and fall. Though an army besiege me, my
heart will not fear; though war break out against me, even then will I be confident”
(Psalm 27:1-3 NIV).
