The Mission

I attended a meeting of the Humanist, Atheist, Freethinker, Agnostic (HAFTA) and was surprised by the lack of organization and structure. John, who was attending for the second time said, “Do we have a mission? What do you think is the mission [of the group]? Maybe we could say what we think?” I wonder if the premise of being a freethinker could in fact keep these folks from ever having a cohesive mission. I can’t help but reflect on the body of Christ and today’s churches coming up with mission and vision statements because people are asking, “What is our mission?  Jesus said, “If you obey my commands, you will remain in my love, just as I have obeyed my Father’s commands and remain in his love. I have told you this so that my joy may be in you and that your joy may be complete. My command is this: Love each other as I have loved you” (John 15:10-12 NIV).

Gail;

-----Atheists can not be free thinkers. Their thinking is necessarily limited by not-God. What I mean is that any line of thought logically extending toward God must be dismissed because, of course, God can not exist. So any thought of Him can not be true. Then their mission is obviously to run toward not-God, which would be toward anywhere God is not. But that can not be either, because currently, there is no where God is not. He is everywhere. The atheist just does not know that. So, in order to refine their mission more to the nature of truth, it must be stated that their mission is to run toward deceit, because their mission is to make up thought about a reality they did not themselves make nor which they can change or in any other way affect. They can only lie about it. That is constraint.
-----If you want free thinking you must be a Christian. Everything around us points to Jesus Christ being precisely what the Word of God states Him to be. The Mazzaroth (Zodiac) spreads from horizon to horizon proclaiming His glorious victory night in and night out since the creation of the universe. The only way to escape it is to run from the details assembling its truth. The annuls of human history proclaim Him. Most pagan gods, idols, and mythology are badly distorted representations of what the earliest generations of Shem, Ham, and Japheth knew of the truth about God and the salvation He makes for the willing of mankind. The earliest literature bears this out. Most histories written in BC acknowledge the Flood and the Tower of Babel. These were big deals to early man. Atheists must run from early recorded history. All they have for a place to run is into the dirt where artifacts lay lifeless and available to be freely lied about. Which must be done, Because if you allow them to assemble themselves like an extremely complicated jigsaw puzzle, they do not speak not-God. They speak Jesus Christ.
-----And philosophy likewise chases the atheist into absurd lies. The simple fact is, it cannot be proven that all creation was not created a mere five minutes ago with every living thing given a “memory” of his own long life correlating well enough with all other “memories” that the sense of it makes upa false realization of eons of history. An infinitely capable God could certainly do this, or He would not be infinite. But neither would He be true. Of course, that also could be His kept secret. Then all things of the Bible would be false, including God’s perfection of being unable to lie. In such case of the five-minute universe (which would make Hell to be Shake-n-Bake,) His stated inability to lie would just be another lie.
-----So, how do we know we weren’t created five minutes ago by a Liar. We don’t. We can only believe we weren’t. And that only because we want to believe God. And we believe a Truthful God created us because we want what the Truthful God is, because we love the Truthful God.
-----For desiring aright and faithfully calling upon Jesus Christ like the Truthful God instructs us to call, we will all receive a white stone with a name written upon it only you, yourself, will know (Rev 2:17.) For our desire of perfection, when we get to Heaven, we will be able to think anything and everything whenever and however much we want, because error will not be possible. And we can do it privately within our own selves unbeknown to anyone without threat to anyone, because of the impossibility of error.
-----Too bad atheists must run from such a magnificent eternity into their tiny, constrained, prison cell, of a rat hole. I must say, “BRILLIANT MISSION: Run to the rat hole and think no more!”

Love you all,
