The Door of Opportunity

Paul wrote to the Corinthians about his travel plans to visit them, “But I will stay on at Ephesus until Pentecost, because a great door for effective work has opened to me, and there are many who oppose me” (1 Cor 16:8-9 NIV). I’m amazed and somewhat envious of Paul’s ability to look beyond the many who oppose him and see a great and open door for effective work.
