Devising Injustice

President Obama continued to weigh-in on the Trayvon Martin case by saying that he could be Trayvon. Reflecting on his youth, Obama remembers walking by cars and hearing a clicking sound as people locked their car doors.

Really? It seems the President wants us to equate locking car doors with racial slurs. I can’t imagine a teen going home to their parents and telling them they felt persecuted because someone locked their car door as they walked by. Even if locking one’s doors had a racial connotation, what teen - black, white, or brown - wouldn’t simply blow the offender off and move on?

“Do you rulers indeed speak justly? Do you judge uprightly among men? No, in your heart you devise injustice, and your hands mete out violence on the earth.” (Psalm 58 1-2 NIV)

Gail;

-----You write as if Obama was being sincere in these comments. Sure, everybody has “walked by cars and heard locks click.” On my way home from Bible college in the early 70’s, I approached a pick-up that had apparently stopped to help me with my stalled car. When I stepped up to the open passenger-side window, the driver lifted a pistol right into my face. And I’m not even black! Nobody completely trusts anyone else because we all are living in an evil world. That’s why there are door locks and pistols. It isn’t personal; it’s just good sense. But, leave it to the dishonest man to present the reality of it as some sort of personal affront against his own interests. Obama doesn’t give a rip about who might be offended by “locking car doors“. His interest is in perpetuating any form of crisis which will lead to votes and support for his totalitarian dream.
-----There are two ways of looking at life. I like the one which looks for what things are and why they are that way. The other casts shadows upon each other’s security, because it looks for what things can be made to look like and how self-benefit might be wrung from that appearance. The first loves reality and searches for its unadulterated face, because knowing ever more about the way things precisely are is knowing the truth. And truth is the harmonizing fiber of any civilization. The second hates reality and adulterates its face with all sorts of paints and piercing and tattoos and scarings meant to mislead others, because the more the masses know distortion instead of reality makes the deceiver ever more the harmonizer of civilization.
-----Reality is that over 70% of black babies are born into homes with no father for guidance. Reality is that a far greater percentage of blacks commit crimes than do the percentages of other races. Reality is that blacks have an affinity for lock stepping by group think. These are observations of the unpainted, unmarked face of reality. Observations are not racism; they are the early steps of knowledge. Every moment of life bears its own weight of risk. Risk must be handled by knowledgeable precautions measured to that moment’s level of risk. Hit the sum key yourself.
-----I would not be surprised if blacks do hear more car doors locking than do whites. But on average, they’ve stuck more guns into faces as well. It is just wrong to expect justice by skin color. Justice ties to behavior. But as long as Obama can paint over that reality and keep the black masses lock-step marching to the beat of perpetual crisis, he can preserve his 95% black vote for the reality masking, America transforming, liberal party.
-----Meanwhile, reality survives underneath all the adulterations of it. Those of us who love it are ever more becoming targets of this hate craving world. Jesus told us not to be surprised. And He told us that truth sets us free. Totalitarians don’t like you being free. They want you being always surprised.

Love you all,
