Sober Judgment

While seated at the dais during a city council meeting a councilman went on a tirade against a citizen for displaying a Confederate flag on his house. The elected official had seen the flag as he drove by the residence and then publicly chastised the citizen saying that the flag represented hatred and racism. He then proceeded to announced the homeowner’s address. Obviously, the councilman misused his position of authority. I’ve seen a similar tactic used in the church by leaders who lord their authority over the congregation. Paul said, “For by the grace given me I say to every one of you: Do not think of yourself more highly than you ought, but rather think of yourself with sober judgment, in accordance with the measure of faith God has given you. Just as each of us has one body with many members, and these members do not all have the same function, so in Christ we who are many form one body, and each member belongs to all the others” (Ro 12:3-5 NIV).

Gail;

-----Nimrod rose the great tower in rebellion against God. He sought his own kingdom, his own rule over men. Israel and Judah rebelled against God. They sought their own way; a normalcy with the nations then reflecting Nimrod more than God. Man is a created reflector. Reflecting God’s image was our purpose. But we turn from heaven above us to reflect men beside us. And that is how garbage is made very apparent.
-----But the sideways reflectors see wealth in trash. Most grovel through it, but some knife and bite and shove with horns to get all they can. The grovelers put them in high places, groveling for the crumbs in paths their feet trample down. And so are made the Neros and Napoleons and Hitlers and American Progressives. They are the heads of the sideways reflectors all together fleshing the body of the Great Harlot. Their city is Babylon, the place of rebellion.
For 28 days the American Progressives have cried a river of artificial tears for 17 children lost. Their feigned grief means to raise a tsunami of rebellion for bullying the weapons of protection from the hands of the upward reflectors. But those same fascists cry an ocean of tears whenever the upward reflectors try to halt the 77,000 children murdered in the womb during these 28 days of feigned grief. The sideways reflectors shall be known by their fruit.
Bullying is their fruit. They bullied into law their murderous intent, and since then Hitler’s atrocity has multiplied by 8. They arrogantly stand amidst 50,000,000 innocents ripped limb from limb to sob up a storm of gun grabbing over the loss of 17. The more sideways reflectors they can stack under them the more power they can grab. So the plight of the black-man has also become a weapon of their artificial tears. The more they can bully the bigger their horns. It isn’t that this man’s flag means anything. It is that this bully’s horns are by it challenged.
Bullies all grow on one weed. In this small place of trash that weed seems overwhelming. It will wax worse. But a flame of righteousness comes from above, from the place the upright reflect. Flame-throwers quickly work weeds. Their trash is consumed under them. Look up through The Holy Bible and reflect what you see. Those reflecting the bullyhood will soon smolder like Gehenna.

4 Then I heard another voice from heaven saying,
“Come out of her, my people,
lest you take part in her sins,
lest you share in her plagues;
5 for her sins are heaped high as heaven,
and God has remembered her iniquities.
6 Render to her as she herself has rendered,
and repay her double for her deeds;
mix a double draught for her in the cup she mixed.
7 As she glorified herself and played the wanton,
so give her a like measure of torment and mourning.
Since in her heart she says, ‘A queen I sit,
I am no widow, mourning I shall never see,’
8 so shall her plagues come in a single day,
pestilence and mourning and famine,
and she shall be burned with fire;
for mighty is the Lord God who judges her.”
Revelation 18:4-8
