On my way to
church the last few weeks I’ve noticed a sandwich-board on a sidewalk in front
of a trailer park advertising a place for people to go to learn about Jesus. I’m
guessing this is a fledgling church, but I find it curious since there are at
least five established churches within a mile of the trailer park. That being
said, I love the fact that someone in the trailer park saw the need to bring
Jesus into their neighborhood. Jesus
said, “The harvest is plentiful, but the workers are few. Ask the Lord of the
harvest, therefore, to send out workers into his harvest field” (Luke 10:2
NIV).
