Freedom
With many shedding their blood we’ve been given physical freedom as Americans. With One shedding His blood we’ve been given spiritual freedom as Christians…we are truly blessed. Have safe 4th of July weekend.

Gail; -----A few years ago I was shown the connection between, “Greater love has no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends,” (John 15:13 RSV) and the soldier’s life hung in the balance for a nation of his friends. I can no longer accept the liberal mentality that lives lost in Iraq, Viet Nam, Korea, or World War II were a waste. The horrific photos of the Nazi death camps, the witness of North Korea’s starvation of her own citizens, the massacre of millions in South East Asia after the US pull-out of 1974, and the hundreds of thousands slaughtered by Saddam Hussein, the children found in his Baghdad prison, and the souls of gassed Kurds all bear witness to the fact that our friends yet living face clear and present dangers. Having none to lay down their lives for them they would soon join that list of testimony, as eventually, would we too.
