Password
With computer technology I understand the need for passwords, but they can be taxing and annoying. If I haven’t used a site in awhile, I have a hard time remembering my password, but writing it down in a book defeats the purpose of security. When I’m denied access to a site the prompt comes up saying, “Forgot you password? Click here.” And then after filling out all the needed information there’s a message telling me they’ll get back to me within 24 hours. Believers have a Password of sorts. Whether you’re walking faithfully with the Lord, or you’ve been adrift in the world for years, in times of desperation the name of Jesus comes to the forefront of your mind. Actually, Jesus is not a totally secure Password because even unbelievers call on His Name. Jesus is, “… written on our hearts, known and read by everybody.” 2 Cor 3:2 NIV

Gail;
-----What a quaint little insight! You’ve recognized both the nature of Jesus’ name as a password for those who are real and a security breach by those who are not. Only Jesus is able to confidently know the difference. And when He brings this twisted age to a close, upon entrance into His kingdom, those to whom this password was truly given will be issued a secure and unique password, “To him who conquers…I will give…a white stone, with a new name written on the stone which no one knows except him who receives it.” (Rev 2:17) Even Jesus has His own secure password, “Then I saw heaven opened, and behold, a white horse! He who sat upon it is called Faithful and True, and in righteousness He judges and makes war. His eyes are like a flame of fire, and on His head are many diadems; and He has a name inscribed which no one knows but Himself.” (Rev 19:11-12)
Love you all,
