The Christian Ear is a forum for discussing and listening to the voice of today's church. The Lord spoke to churches,“He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches.” Rev 2&3

Repetition
It’s been so warm the last couple weeks that at night I’ve left the
bedroom window open to get a light breeze. Then every morning at dawn I’m
serenaded by a couple of birds perched in the tree next to the house. These
guys are really, really happy at first light. I’m no expert on bird songs, but
it sounds like one bird will keep repeating the same notes and cadence over and
over again, while the other bird will chime in only occasionally.
Interestingly, every morning it’s the same song. “Each of the four living creatures had six wings and was covered with
eyes all around, even under his wings. Day and night they never stop saying:
“Holy, holy, holy is the Lord God Almighty, who was, and is, and is to come.”
(Rev 4:8 NIV)

Gail;
-----Those two birds add their particular bar of tune to the morning sounds. Each other animal is doing the same. You’re rising to add your particular activities to life’s progression, too. Everyone else is doing the same. Around the Throne of God the four living creatures make their particular effect. Each of the rest of the angels do their particular thing. God is not a head puppet-master, as if every action in existence must be from His initiative. The system of life He created and desires self-organizes to the effecting of His pleasure, each member doing its particular part, all members acting in His will.
-----Or at least that is the way He desired it. One day upon earth the human creatures self-disorganized. It was not the doing of their own thing that went awry. God wants His creatures initiating their own actions. Awry was their own thing swerving out of His will. He willed all actions of creatures' initiation to be true and beneficial. What the humans did was false and detrimental. As a result, today’s misimpression is that every action must be orchestrated by a force of central control to avoid chaos.
-----But chaos is not avoided by central control. It is actually created by it within the hearts and minds of the controlled. Bird flocks and fish schools are not centrally controlled, yet they turn instantly and non-chaotically in whatever direction they go. Ants and honeybees are not centrally controlled. Yet each individual goes out to bring back food. These creatures do the things they do because their nature is that of the creatures they are.
-----Chaos in the life of mankind exists not because each one initiates his own actions. It exists because man abandoned his nature of being image of God. He rather chose to reflect image of snake. Thus it is told us by God that truth sets us free, not robotic surrender to central control which is the deceit of the snake and the rising of the Beast.
-----Upon crying out to Jesus Christ for rescue, our spirits' nature is recreated and begins transforming our hearts and minds from the proclivity to advance self gain by use of deceit to that of advancing gain in the course of truth. I reckon when Christ has destroyed every rule and authority and power and has delivered the kingdom and the subjection of everything else, and Himslef, too, to God His Father (I Cor 15:24-28), then even the possibilities of deceit and detriment will no longer exist. All existence will thenceforth be true and benefitial only. It will be out of the realm of possibility for any cause, not even one, to render either an erroneous or detrimental effect. Nor will it be possible for even one effect to in turn become a deceiving or destructive cause. Therefore, I suppose, from the slightest, single cause and effect to the whole of all of them throughout the eternity of His Heaven’s infinity, everything will be made of truth and benefit exclusively. Nothing could possibly be otherwise. So it is that our individual initiatives will be so trusted that each of us will receive a new name known only to the one receiving it (Rev 2:17), the pinnacle of individuality. Then as all the individual birds self organize into a God-pleasing flock by the nature of their “birdiness”, we will self organize into God’s kingdom of righteousness, peace, and joy by the nature of truth and love.
Love you all,
Steve Corey
