Gail;
-----America did not create the great freedom and prosperity we once enjoyed. The misconception that it did is why we are near to losing it. John Locke and the Scottish moralists discovered its process; America applied the process. God created the process. And free people using it created America. So it is that our founding fathers centered their political theory around each man’s inalienable rights to enjoy his own knowledge and decisions regarding his own life, liberty, and pursuit of happiness. So it is that they wrote the Constitution with limits upon Federal government and the Bill of Rights as a statement bounding Federal power from destroying the rights God gave the people for their good. That is the conservative reality. -----There is no God, therefore, there are no inalienable rights. Alone, a man is hopeless, lost in despair, and bound to atrophy. Like wasps and ants, he must live surrendered to the community with no rights in and of himself. His past means nothing. His future will mean nothing as well lest it is saved by the community and dissolves into the community's meaning. Therefore, the community needs the insight of the most enlightened ones who will regulate everyone into utopia. This is liberal philosophy. -----What made America great is gone. America was constructed while men of the conservative reality taught in more schools and universities, wrote in more books and newspapers, sat upon more court benches, legislated in more halls, and preached from more pulpits than not. In short, it was constructed when more intellectuals were conservative than not and when more people were in accord with their thinking than not. Today, more American people remain conservative than not, and maybe more preachers, too. But over the last century America has been deconstructed one piece at a time by liberals quietly replacing conservatives as the majority of teachers, professors, journalists and authors, judges, and legislators. Of course, entertainers are liberal by the sheer human nature of entertainment, so America's deconstruction has been heralded by entertainers with deceptive celebration decade in and decade out. Today, nearly every category of intellectualism is filled prominently by liberals. -----How long have we, the majority of the American people, the conservative minded side of society been crying every election year, “Throw the bums out!”? And we have thrown out many bums. We threw out Jimmy Carter for Ronald Reagan. We threw out a liberal House and Senate for more conservative ones. We threw out Bill Clinton for George Bush. So why are we here, staring into the face of our country’s collapse under the crushing weight of socialistic mandates? -----Because we have not thrown the liberal intellectuals out. That task is much more difficult, if not impossible, for the same Constitution guaranteeing our right to construct America guarantees their right to advocate its deconstruction. But what we must carefully realize and loudly shout is that it does not guarantee their right to actually deconstruct America against the will of America's majority and the Constitution! Horrible legislation, suffocating bureaucracy, and fraudulent court decisions exceeding even the magnitude of Chief Justice Robert’s continue driving final nails into the coffin of our individual freedom and national sovereignty against our outcries. One reason alone makes this possible: the continuing spread of misinformation by liberal intellectuals in places of high repute. -----The truth sets us free. Study it. Speak it. Defend it. Live it. Make a flood of it. Crowd deceit back into its ugly dung-heap where it can be seen for what it is. The spread of truth alone can undermine this ripening, fundamental-transformation of America. And if that fails too, don’t fret, you’re still free. Jesus Christ is the truth. His Word will become final. And His Word is for you, an individual.
