Unto Me

The parents of the children whose lives were lost during the elementary school shooting at Sandy Hook are struggling with their children being taken from them. No doubt families will also struggle with letting go of the children. I find comfort in the image of Jesus welcoming these precious little ones, “Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these.”  (Matt 19:14 NIV)

Gail;

-----The common list of priorities is so upside-down. We hate missing what these children could have been in this lifetime. Yet most people are so anxious about this lifetime that they deny the infinitely more they could be in the life to come and become the infinitely worse instead. So, your thoughts about these children are comforting to me, because the prospects of their full lifetimes would have had most of them traveling the broad path to destruction.

Love you all,
