Self-Enforcer

A recent letter to the editor complained about people being ignorant of the law pertaining to operating a motor vehicle. “I wonder how many people know that it is against the law to pass on the [right] shoulder.” I have to laugh because to get a driver’s licenses everyone had to take a test and they know it’s illegal to pass on the shoulder…they just chose to ignore the law. We believers do the same thing when we knowingly disobey God’s commands. However, we who strive to be obedient to the WORD are no different than our worldly counterparts when we see someone breaking the Lord’s commands. The first thing that comes to mind is, “Where are the patrolmen when you need them?”

Gail;

-----God made this world to be such that it is the person ignorant of the law who must do something about it. Police can only issue consequences (citations) or scoop the transgressor into custody. The courts only find guilt and issue more consequences. When they do order restitution, then it is the one who did the harm who must restore. But when evil reaches its pinnacle, none of these occur, because that pinnacle reached by evil is in the police and the court as well.
-----Several voices warned Ambassador Stephens that Jihadists were planning a raid. Stephens passed it on to those in authority, requesting stronger security. His requests were denied. Everyone knew this - Stephens, Obama, Hillary. But only Stephens sweated until the day he died. Then Obama and Hillary sweated, not because of any lack in their own security, but because their supporters might believe they ignored completely adequate warnings about the Embassy‘s insecurity. As the attack was occurring they could plainly see the situation was exactly as they had been warned. And even in the midst of this they told every asset prepared to engage the raid and attempt a rescue to stand down. So, the attack had to become, in the minds of the public, a “spur of the moment” reaction to a video insulting Mohammad, thus rendering moot all the ignored warnings.
-----When Hillary sat before the Senate investigation committee in early 2012, she was not sworn to “…tell the truth, the whole truth, and nothing but the truth.” Why was her testimony given without penalty of perjury? Could it be that senate committees are run by Democrats, and Obama is the Democrat sweetheart, the apple of that party’s eye, the icon whose image must be untarnished, as must be the images of all left-wing, iconic tyrants? Then why was she not sworn to “…tell the truth, the whole truth, and nothing but the truth” when she testified before the Republican controlled House of Representatives investigation committee? Everyone else testifying there was sworn to the penalty of perjury. Only Hillary was not. The opposition party's control should have unfettered the truth from the self-servitude of Democrats. In fact, the danger should have been its use of control as a weapon to ruthlessly beat Hillary and Obama, like the Democrats did to Scooter Libby. But no. They also wrote Hillary a license to lie, which, of course, she did.
-----What will become of us who must face this authority of disregard for truth and justice? Oh, yes! For all eternity we will enjoy the riches of the righteousness we love after every last liar has been cast from reality’s presence. But do we forget there is a then between now and heaven? There are people with pliers rotten enough to pull fingernails and sanctioned by governments to even do worse. With their lies they pull any chance of making clear decisions right out of our heads. And in the vacancy of our minds they fill our children’s heads with pathways to hell.
-----Thank God the grapes of wrath will be trod. Yet, between now and then, the loss of our fingernails and minds alike is our recompense for allowing these liars to survive, let alone to rule. Ultimately, we must be the protectors of our own public environment, or be slaves to whoever else is. Like did Hillary and Obama, we ignore warnings. We ignorantly refuse to be the government the Constitution made of us. We foolishly sleep behind the wheel of our own patrol car. And we refuse to pass judgment in the court of our own minds. We deserve what comes our way.

Love you all,
