Thanks-giving
Jesus said to his apostles, “I have eagerly desired to eat this Passover with you before I suffer.” After taking the cup, he gave thanks. And taking the bread, he gave thanks and broke it. Thank you Jesus, for giving…and forgiving.

Gail; ----I am 52 years old. I have not been to the dentist in 33 years. I have every tooth God gave me, each in its proper place, no fillings, no cavities, and no pains. The last time I saw a doctor for an ailment was December 1999. My blood tests from the annual health fair continue to show every category good to better. Without glasses, I read a Bible that fits into my Levi's pocket. ----Whenever I'm asked how I maintain such good health, I admit that I don't. I don't really take good care of myself. It wasn't until I married Char fifteen years ago that I started brushing my teeth more than a couple times a week and stopped eating popcorn for supper. I don't exercise regularly, and I am thirty pounds overweight. ----But God takes good care of me. He always has, and I have always admitted that to myself almost daily. Everytime I think of my health I thank God for it. Every time I discuss my health with someone else I make sure they understand that I thank God for it almost daily. ----I know I don't deserve good health. And when I think of so many who are in physical distress I almost feel guilty. To know that He has blessed me with spiritual health beyond just physical health generates my joy. For all my failings and stubborness that He could punish me or destroy me for, He does not. I know the degree of my sinfullness is far greater than the degree of my good health. Yet He is still there with His hands reaching light and support into my darkness. And I am so thankful.
