After He walked
on water Jesus climbed into the boat with his disciples and they landed at
Gennesaret. “And when the men of that place recognized Jesus,
they sent word to all the surrounding country. People brought all their sick to
him and begged him to let the sick just touch the edge of
his cloak, and all who touched him were healed” (Matt 14:35 NIV). It occurs to
me that believers today continue the same practice of bringing the sick to
Jesus. With our prayers for physical, mental and spiritual health for others,
we are in essence, bringing each one of them to Jesus for healing.
